Despite being controversy’s favorite child, we cannot fail being impressed by the maverick new Chief Minister of the state of UP: Yogi Adityanath. The man means business and he lets this know in no clearer terms to the public as he sets out to achieve his social vision of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’ and in making UP a crime-free state.
The five-time BJP MP from Gorakhpur, has been clear that notwithstanding being a Hindu-hardliner he is all for the development of minorities in the state. He has fielded religion-related questions and other controversies robustly in his recent television appearances post BJP’s win in UP, and it is heart-warming to see people’s faith in this young leader.
I wish him the very best and look forward for him to achieve ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’ in UP.
