I recently had the honor of being a guest speaker at one of the most prestigious Management institutes of our country – The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS). The institute had organized its Annual Convention, an event aimed towards sharing best business practices to mold the business leaders of future.
Speaking on the crucial role which the corporate sector is playing, and would continue doing so, in transforming India, I got an opportunity to introspect and appreciate my own journey into the corporate world all those years ago, wherein each day brought forth its own new challenges.
Notwithstanding the tremendous improvement in the country’s infrastructure, employment rate, lifestyles etc. which the evolving corporate sector has brought forward, I feel we are still at the threshold, with much more in store supported by new economic liberalization policies of the government.
